Accommodation Assistant - Portrush
We’re currently recruiting Housekeepers to join a busy and friendly hospitality team in Portrush for the upcoming Easter to September 2026 season.
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys physical work, takes pride in high standards, and is flexible with their availability, including Saturdays and Sundays.
About this role:
1. £12.71 per hour
2. Working Hours: Typically 10.00 am - 2.00pm depending on changeovers
3. Shifts available over 7 day rota, including weekends
4. Immediate starts available
5. Duration of Post: Seasonal / Part Time (Easter - September 2026)
What you'll be doing in this role:
6. Making beds, cleaning bathrooms and showers
7. Dusting, vacuuming, mopping floors
8. Replenishing toiletries, towels and bed linen
9. Managing laundry duties
10. Collecting used linen and towels
11. Washing, drying, folding and organising clean items
12. Maintaining cleanliness in communal areas, including hallways and staircases
13. Reporting maintenance issues, damages or stock shortages
14. Following all health, safety and hygiene procedures
What you'll need for this role:
15. Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience in B&B, hotel or hospitality settings (essential)
16. A strong work ethic and willingness to work at pace
17. Flexibility to work weekends (Saturday & Sunday availability is essential)
18. Comfortable with physical work, including lifting, bending, standing and using stairs
19. Excellent attention to detail
20. Reliable, punctual and trustworthy
21. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
