I am working with a fast-paced consultancy Central London to find an ambitious and proactive HR Assistant to join their HR team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to build broad HR experience within a fast-paced and professional environment.
As HR Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting the full employee lifecycle across multiple entities, acting as a first point of contact for employees and external partners while providing high-quality HR administration and coordination support.
Key Responsibilities
* Act as the first point of contact for employee queries, escalating matters to the Head of HR where appropriate.
* Build strong relationships with senior stakeholders, external recruiters, and third‑party partners.
* Support the full employee lifecycle including recruitment, onboarding, offboarding, probation reviews, appraisals, benefits administration, and family leave processes.
* Coordinate and prepare monthly payroll changes, working closely with Finance to ensure accuracy.
* Maintain accurate employee records and HR data across the HRIS.
* Produce HR reports and support data analysis where required.
* Assist with HR projects and wider group initiatives, including policy updates, benchmarking, and benefits implementation.
* Stay up to date with HR best practices and employment legislation across the UK and international entities.
* Provide additional administrative and operational HR support as required.
About You
* 1+ years’ experience within an HR Administration or recruitment role
* Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
* Confident communicator with the ability to build relationships across all levels of the business.
* Comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
* Experience using HRIS systems and supporting payroll processes is advantageous.
* A proactive and team‑oriented approach with a willingness to support wider HR initiatives.
