Job Title: Customer Support
Location: St James Quarter & George St; Working across Bank of Scotland branches within a reasonable distance.
Hours: 35 hours per week, including Saturdays
Salary: £25,000 rising to £25,750 after 6 months in role. We operate a skill progression framework allowing increases and the opportunity to earn up to £30,750 at the highest skill level.
End Date: Friday 12 September 2025
What you’ll do (Responsibilities)
As a Customer Support colleague, you’ll learn, grow and develop within an inclusive organisation focused on putting people first, making a difference to customers, businesses and communities. You could be in a branch helping customers side by side, or working from home, assisting customers via phone, social media, web-chat and remote advice video calls.

What you’ll need (Qualifications)
* Crucially, you’re a people person – honest, genuine, and caring about helping people with their finances (no previous financial services experience required).
* The ability to quickly build relationships to provide a fantastic customer experience.
* The passion to empathise with customers, act with care and integrity, resolve queries, and instill confidence in the service provided.
* The commitment to deliver on your promises and go above and beyond for customers.
* A genuine team player who collaborates closely with colleagues to meet customer needs.
* If located in a hybrid location, you must meet homeworking criteria (e.g., quiet private room, stable internet).
