43K BASIC TECHNICIAN ROLE IN BURY ST EDMUNDS ROLE: Vehicle Technician LOCATION: Bury St Edmunds SALARY: 43k basic, 50k ote company benefits HOURS: Monday to Friday 8.00 – 6.00. Saturday 9.00 – 1.00 every other week Flame Recruitment is currently recruiting for a Vehicle Technician / Diagnostic Technician. This is for our clients, independent dealer in Suffolk. Working negotiable hours between 8.00-6.00 and 9.00 -1.00 Saturday (rota), the successful applicant will possess a good work ethic and participate as part of a hardworking, friendly and experienced workshop team with a “can do” attitude. About you: • Previous experience as a Vehicle Technician / Diagnostic Technician • NVQ Level 3 or have a minimum of 4 years continuous experience • Have up to date knowledge of diagnostic systems • Preferably but not essentially, be EV/hybrid vehicle qualified • You will need to hold a full valid UK driving license • Preferably but not essentially, with a current MOT tester qualification • Be able to understand vehicle wiring diagrams. • Be able to diagnose both electrical and mechanical faults Responsibilities: • Performing diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on a wide range of vehicles. • General serving and repairs • Completing vehicle health checks and documentation accurately Benefits : • Company pension scheme • Company discount purchase scheme. • 25 days paid holiday Bank holidays • Uncapped bonus system. • Uniform, overalls and safety boots provided. • Free on-site staff car parking Apply only if you have: • Motor Vehicle Technician background within the UK automotive industry • Level 3 in City & Guilds or IMI • Full UK driving licence • The right to work in the UK (sponsorship is not available) To apply for our Vehicle Technician role, please get in touch, or look at our website to see all roles over the UK.
