Punch Press Operator – £14.50 per hour – Days
A long-established CNC manufacturing company—specialising in laser cutting, perforating, and sheet metal fabrication—is seeking an experienced Punch Press Operator to join its skilled production team. What You’ll Be Doing
1. Operating Amada CNC turret punch machines to manufacture high-quality sheet metal components
2. Setting, tooling, and running punch press machinery efficiently
3. Reading and interpreting technical drawings and job specifications
4. Carrying out first-off and in-process quality checks
5. Ensuring accuracy and consistency throughout production runs
6. Working collaboratively with the production team to meet production targets
7. Supporting other fabrication processes when required
What We Offer
8. £14.50-£15 per hour depending on experiance
9. 38 hours per week (days) 8am-4:30pm
10. Overtime available
11. A modern workshop equipped with the latest CNC machinery, including laser cutters, turret punch presses, press brakes, and guillotines

What We’re Looking For In a Punch Press Operator
13. Previous experience operating Turret punch machines, Amanda beneficial but not essential
14. Ability to read and work from technical drawings
15. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
16. Reliable, positive attitude with a strong work ethic
17. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
