What you'll be doing
* Provide technical support, resolving escalated issues to ensure system availability for customers.
* Support the delivery of IT Provision, Incident handling, Service Requests, and Change Management within SLAs and KPIs.
* Assist in service delivery and contribute to service productivity targets.
* Provide early visibility to Line Manager regarding issues impacting Systems Engineering objectives and manage escalations effectively.
* Support operational elements on transformational initiatives to meet Cloud Infrastructure and Technology goals and influence business adoption.
* Apply Continuous Improvement (CI) methodologies daily to identify waste and drive improvements.
* Contribute analytical and innovative input to projects and operational issues, including supporting negotiations.
The skills you'll need
* Strong understanding of Cyber Security Principles
* Experience with Endpoint Detection and Response (CrowdStrike)
* Knowledge of Network Detection and Response tools
* Understanding of the Mitre Attack framework
* Good grasp of networks and protocols
* Windows and Linux server knowledge, including containers
* Public Cloud experience (AWS, Azure, GCP)
* Proven track record of end-to-end project delivery
* Ability to produce technical documentation
* Willingness to work occasionally out of hours and provide 24/7 callout cover
* Ability to identify opportunities for collaboration and continuous improvement
* Effective stakeholder management and negotiation skills
* Knowledge of incident and change management processes
