As our Senior Social Media Manager, you are responsible for leading the delivery of high-quality social media work across a portfolio of client accounts, while acting as a senior presence within the Social team.
The role combines strong execution, strategic input, and confident client handling, alongside supporting team development and contributing to agency growth. This role operates with a high level of autonomy and initiative, requiring clear judgement, confidence, and consistency in decision-making.
The Senior Social Media Manager is expected to uphold agency standards across all work and act as a reliable point of support for both junior team members and the Head of Social. Client Responsibility & Delivery
● Owns and leads social media delivery across multiple client accounts, ensuring work is consistently high quality, on brief, and on brand.
● Manages day-to-day planning, content delivery, and campaign execution, balancing priorities effectively across accounts.
● Ensures tone of voice, messaging, and creative output align with agreed strategies, KPIs, and brand guidelines.
● Handles client communication with confidence and clarity, building trusted relationships and responding to feedback constructively and proactively.
● Identifies opportunities to improve performance, output, and effectiveness across accounts, proactively suggesting optimisations and new approaches.
● Maintains oversight of timelines, budgets, and resourcing, flagging risks early and implementing solutions. One Agency Media Social
● Leads on multiple social media accounts, including One Agency Media's own channels, treating each as a client in its own right.
● Ensures content is delivered on time, to brief, and aligned with the agency tone of voice and positioning. ● Works closely with the team to establish and maintain clear processes, timelines, and responsibilities for planning, content creation, approvals, and delivery.
● Ensures structure and accountability so agency social output is consistent, strategic, and high quality.
● Acts as the senior point of ownership for agency social, flagging issues early and proactively finding solutions when timelines or quality are at risk. Senior Team Contribution
● Acts as a senior figure within the Social team, setting a strong example through behaviour, delivery, and professionalism.
● Supports and guides more junior team members through feedback, collaboration, and knowledge sharing.
● Works closely with the Head of Social, providing dependable support and contributing to team direction and problem-solving.
● Operates with maturity, confidence, and composure, particularly in high-pressure situations. Influencers & Collaboration
● Participates in influencer-led projects when required, collaborating across briefing, coordination, and delivery.
● Collaborates effectively with Creative, Strategy, and Account teams to ensure joined-up delivery and consistent standards.
● Integrates social thinking into wider campaign planning, ensuring content and strategy are fully aligned. New Business & Agency Growth
● Supports new business pitches, working alongside the head of social to shape social thinking, content approaches, and pitch narratives.
● Contributes platform expertise, insight, and forward-thinking ideas to strengthen proposals and support agency growth.
● Identifies opportunities to expand social services within existing client accounts
