Key Responsibilities of a Service Planner
Plan and schedule service engineers’ work across the UK
Manage urgent service calls and ad hoc requests
Coordinate materials and resources with suppliers and purchasing
Process service orders and handle administrative tasks
Act as the first contact for clients and engineers regarding planning and logistics
Adjust priorities to ensure customer satisfaction and efficient service delivery
Requirements of a Service Planner
3–5 years of experience in planning, scheduling, or logistics
Strong problem-solving skills with a commercial or technical mindset
Excellent communication skills and fluency in English
Calmness under pressure and a proactive approach
Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
Team-oriented, flexible, with a practical attitude and a sense of humour
