We're now looking for a Transport Controller
A TYPICAL DAY MAY INVOLVE
* Managing driver paperwork and post-journey debriefing
* Managing the trailer pool for the site
* Managing the defecting process for vehicles requiring maintenance
* Arranging for vehicle maintenance by liaising with maintenance suppliers
* Driver performance management
* Communicating effectively with various parts of the business, including with the customer
* Helping the site to meet KPI and budgetary targets
* Managing driver hours and schedules
* Investigating incidents and complaints
* Support the Transport Manager
* Attend meetings
this Role Would Suit People Who
* Excellent organisational skills
* Minimum of 1 year experience of team management
* Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
* Computer literate
* Background in transport operations - desirable
