Develop working understanding of manufacturing, quality control and safety.
Gain hands-on experience working with other engineers, operators and manufacturing resources.
Work independently as well as with other cross-functional resources to complete various tasks and objectives.
Job Details:
* Work independently as well as with cross functional teams (including but not limited to engineering, manufacturing, safety, quality functions) to implement process improvements on site by updating work instructions.
* Review operations with manufacturing personnel, training manager, and engineering. This includes reviewing of processes, procedures, and work instructions both in an office setting as well as on the manufacturing floor
* Learn safety policies and procedures
* Understand the control documentation process in order to update work instructions critical for training and production
* Prepare and present a summary of experiences and lessons learned to Management staff at conclusion of internship

Requirements
* Must have completed at least Freshman year of college while pursuing a Bachelor degree in Chemical or Mechanical engineering
* Working knowledge of Google Docs, Sheets and Slides and also Microsoft Word desirable.
* Willingness to learn new skills
* Flexible schedule
* Strong written, organizational, and communications skills
WORKING (Physical) CONDITIONS

* Use of Computer (audio/visual equipment)
