The RoleReporting directly to senior management, the Business Development Manager - Transport & Warehouse will be responsible for identifying, winning, and onboarding new customers across warehousing, palletised distribution, and transport services. Key ResponsibilitiesProactively identify and develop new business opportunities within warehousing and transportSell a range of logistics solutions including storage, pick and pack, palletised distribution, and transport servicesManage the full sales cycle from lead generation through to contract sign-offBuild and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makersPrepare and present commercial proposals and pricing modelsWork closely with operations teams to ensure smooth onboarding and service deliveryMaintain accurate pipeline and CRM reportingRepresent the business at networking events and industry forums. Key ExperiencesProven experience in business development or sales within warehousing, transport, or 3PLStrong understanding of logistics pricing, margins, and contract structuresEstablished network or strong market knowledge within the Yorkshire / North East Midlands regionResults-driven with a consultative sales approachConfident, professional communicator able to engage at all levelsFull UK driving licence
