Anderson Knight are seeking a Reporting Accountant to join our clients expanding UK Accounting Team and play a key role in delivering high-quality financial reporting for a diverse and growing client base.
About the Role
Following continued growth and the onboarding of exciting new clients, our client are looking to strengthen their team and offering an excellent opportunity to join a dynamic, collaborative working environment. As a Reporting Accountant, you will work closely with both internal teams and external clients — typically managing relationships with 3–4 clients directly — so strong interpersonal skills and confidence in front of clients are essential.
Your responsibilities will include preparing and reviewing management accounts, VAT and CIS returns, financial statements (experience in this area is desirable but not essential), undertaking bank reconciliations and full trial balance work.
Key Responsibilities
* Act as the main point of contact for a portfolio of clients, ensuring the timely and accurate delivery of all financial reporting.
* Prepare bespoke monthly and quarterly management accounts, including full management account packs.
* Produce standalone and consolidated financial statements under FRS 102 and IFRS.
* Complete bank reconciliations and end-to-end trial balance work.
* Prepare and submit VAT and CIS returns.
* Perform financial analysis and support the preparation of investor reporting.
* Assist in NAV calculations and due diligence in relation to the acquisition and disposal of entities.
* Identify opportunities for process improvement and work with the Director to implement changes.

About You
* Ideally studying towards a recognised professional accounting qualification (e.g. ACCA, CIMA, CA) – but this is not essential. Qualified and Qualified by experience candidates are also invited to apply.
* Experience preparing management accounts, VAT/CIS returns and trial balances.
* Exposure to the preparation of financial statements under FRS 102/IFRS is beneficial.
* Strong Excel and general Microsoft Office skills.
* Comfortable engaging with clients — confident, articulate, and professional.
* Organised, proactive and detail-focused.
