Keeler Recruitment are working exclusively with a respected and growing business in Norwich to recruit an experienced Credit Controller. You will play a key role within the finance team, ensuring accurate management of the sales ledger, minimising credit risk, and building strong relationships with both customers and internal teams. This is a busy role that requires a proactive approach, strong communication skills, and excellent attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities:
* Managing the sales ledger and credit control function
* Monitoring customer credit, ensuring payments are received within agreed terms
* Processing payments, invoices, credit notes, and reconciliations
* Liaising with insurers, credit agencies, and internal stakeholders to minimise risk
* Actively chasing debtors and resolving queries quickly and professionally
* Preparing and distributing customer statements and reports
* Supporting the wider finance team when required
About You:
* Proven experience in a Credit Control role
* Strong IT skills, ideally with Kerridge, Sage, and Excel
* Excellent organisational and communication skills
* Able to work under pressure and to deadlines in a busy finance environment
* A problem-solver with strong attention to detail and accuracy
* A confident team player with a professional and proactive approach
