Design Engineer / London / Up to £49,000
Overview:
Our client who are a in the Point-of-Sale industry are currently seeking a Design Engineer to join their team to assist in modifying existing and designing new bespoke displays for clients.

Role & Responsibilities:
* Use Solidworks to create retail furniture
* Provide technical support and assembly drawings to support the sales team in quoting
* Create and maintain engineering drawings and specifications to the customers needs
* Using the Product Lifecycle Management system to complete drawings
* Attend client meetings
* Liaise with project managers and manufacturing team throughout the product prototype process
* Produce detailed reports from meetings regarding key points
* Specify best materials for the project with regards to project
* Liaise with clients regarding specific requirements
* Creating installation manuals
* Update planning schedules
Essential Skills & Experience:
* 3+ years working in a similar position in the Point of Sale industry
* Confidence to speak to clients
* Experience on Solidworks
* Experience using the Adobe Creative Suite
* Team player
Package:
* Up to £49,000 basic salary
