The ideal candidate will excel at simplifying text-heavy content into visually engaging and easy-to-understand graphical representations. A deep understanding of user research, UCD design principles, and proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Adobe, as well as the M365 suite, particularly PowerPoint, Word and SharePoint are essential. This role is perfect for a designer who thrives at the intersection of storytelling, user experience, and impactful design. Responsibilities Graphic Design & Storytelling: Simplify complex business and technical content into clear visual stories—using infographics, diagrams, and illustrations to communicate strategies and solutions in areas like enterprise architecture, cloud adoption, AI, and cybersecurity. User-Centred Design: Lead and execute user research to gather actionable insights for design projects. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Business Analysts and consultants, to translate research findings into effective design solutions. Analyse and synthesise data from interviews, surveys, and analytics to drive visual storytelling and design decisions. Apply design thinking methodologies to create visually aligned outputs that meet user needs, support strategic business goals, and fully comply with WCAG accessibility standards to ensure inclusive and usable experiences for all. Presentation Design: Design engaging, professional PowerPoint presentations that communicate key messages effectively while bringing fresh, contemporary perspectives informed by current design trends and tools. Collaboration & Feedback: Work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements and iterate on designs based on feedback. About you Experience: 7 years of professional design experience, ideally within consultancy or enterprise environments. Consultancy Mindset: Proven ability to work with clients across industries, understanding business challenges and translating them into impactful design solutions that support digital transformation. Leadership: Experience in mentoring early careers designers, setting design standards, and influencing stakeholders at senior levels. Software Proficiency: Advanced expertise in Figma, PowerPoint, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), and enterprise presentation tools (Power Point, Word). Organisation & Delivery: Strong organisational skills with a track record of managing multiple high‑stakes projects in fast‑paced organisations. Collaboration: Exceptional collaboration skills, able to partner with consultants, client teams, and technical teams to deliver cohesive solutions. Portfolio: Demonstrated success in visual storytelling, UI design, and enterprise‑level communication materials (e.g., strategy decks, transformation roadmaps, cybersecurity frameworks).
