Key Responsibilities
* Perform routine and complex tests in Cellular Pathology, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
* Provide expert interpretation of laboratory results and deliver high-quality diagnostic data.
* Maintain, calibrate, and operate laboratory equipment and instruments.
* Assist with quality control processes to ensure compliance with standards and protocols.
* Collaborate with pathologists and clinicians to support patient diagnosis and treatment.
* Mentor and supervise junior laboratory staff.
Requirements
* Degree or diploma in Cellular Pathology or Histopathology.
* Current registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
* Recent experience as a Band 6 Specialist Biomedical Scientist in Cellular Pathology.
* NHS laboratory experience is desirable.
* No driving licence required.
