CNC Laser Operator
£14.00 – £16.00 per hour | Full Time - Temp to Perm| Sheffield AreaRotating Days & Nights
Shift Pattern
* Days: Monday – Thursday 7:00am – 4:30pm, Friday 8:00am – 2:30pm
* Nights: Monday – Friday 8:00pm – 6:00am
The Role
An established manufacturing business is seeking an experienced Laser Operator to join their production team. This is a long-term opportunity offering stable hours, regular overtime, and strong employee benefits.
Key Responsibilities
* Set up and operate Bystronic and Amada fibre laser machines
* Ensure consistently high cut quality and accuracy
* Work efficiently to meet production targets
* Maintain excellent housekeeping and adhere to health & safety standards
* Support continuous improvement within the department
* Work independently and as part of a wider production team
What We're Looking For
* Proven experience operating Bystronic / Amada fibre lasers (essential)
* Ability to set machines independently
* Flexible to work rotating day and night shifts
* Strong attention to detail and quality-focused mindset
* Knowledge of working with different steels (advantageous)
* Forklift licence (desirable)
* Reliable, proactive and team-orientated
