Radiology Department Assistants (RDAs) to join our fast-paced Cross Sectional Imaging team within the Radiology Department at University Hospital Southampton NHS Foundation Trust.
What you’ll do
* Work alongside Radiographers, Doctors and other Healthcare professionals
* Prepare patients for their CT and MR scans (including Radiation and MRI safety)
* Provide aftercare for patients undergoing CT and MRI guided interventional procedures such as biopsies
* Cannulation
* Maintain the working environment keeping it safe, stocked, tidy ensuring it meets a high standard of cleanliness.
* Data entry and admin tasks are required for maintaining patient records
What we’re looking for
* Someone with a genuine interest in Healthcare
* Previous Healthcare, caring or public facing experience
* Good communication skills and a caring and calm personality
* Willing to be flexible about your shifts and able to cover service hours outlined above
* Basic computer skills with good attention to detail
