Our UK and Continental Europe team is growing and we're looking for an Electrical Engineer who can progress in Protection & control / Secondary design to provide support to projects across Jacobs' markets. This includes work on transmission system assets, HVDC interconnectors, energy storage systems, inertia systems, wind farms and advanced facilities for mission critical industries in the technology and process sectors. We will consider technical professionals from most backgrounds, but we are especially keen to seek experience within rail, oil and gas refinery, substation/plant design. * A degree in Electrical Engineering or another relevant engineering discipline and Chartered Engineer status with a relevant institution or working towards chartered status * Experience within an electrical discipline and experience in delivering complex multi-disciplinary projects e.g. Railor Oil and Gas Refinery * Relevant, professional experience in HV and LV experience 33kV - 400kV * Experience preparing design calculations, reports, and detailed drawings.
