Job Role - HR Advisor
Location - Sunderland
Jackson Hogg are looking to recruit a HR Advisor for a fantastic growing manufacturing company based in Sunderland.
Hours - Monday to Thursday - 7:00 - 4:15 and Friday 7:00 - 12:00
Main Responsibilities
A wide variety of duties will form part of the role including:
* Monitoring of lateness and sickness (monthly sickness KPI)
* Internal and external training
* Recruitment
* Investigation and Disciplinary issues
* Performance and absence management
* Completion of Health and Safety records
* Income protection claims
* Succession planning
* Occupational health appointments
* Carrying out inductions
* Event planning
* Payroll
* Maintain policies and procedures
* Ad Hoc duties as required
Requirements
* Experience in a unionised environment
* Good understanding of employment law
* Previous experience at Advisor level
* Strong problem solving and decision making abilities.
* Level 5 CIPD is desirable
It is expected that the successful candidate will have a good level of relevant experience, excellent communication and IT skills.
This is a flexi-time contract working 40 hours per week.
