Job objectives and responsibilities
To deliver an exceptional customer experience for all internal and external customers visiting the Rolls-Royce Learning and Development Centre ensuring that all activity delivered is of the highest standard. Have a passion for creating an environment for everyone to thrive.
Main duties
1. To lead and manage the Customer Support and Site Support teams to deliver a first class service within the Rolls-Royce Learning & Development Centre
2. Deputise for the Operations Manager
3. Duty Management responsibility 06.30am – 18.30 (rota)
4. Ensure that all site activities are carried out effectively
5. To liaise with service providers to ensure delivery of a quality service, on time, to specification
6. To ensure customer requests are dealt with efficiently and effectively
7. Work to and periodically review a standard set of operating procedures
8. Support Emergency Evacuation procedures
9. Carry out the building HS&E daily inspection before the building opens ensuring all actions are tracked through to closure
10. Update the Site Manager and Site Log sheet throughout the day
11. Raise work requests through the Maximo system
12. Ensure all meeting room requests are completed in accordance with the SLA
13. Attend weekly service line meetings
14. Support with personal emergency evacuation plans (PEEPS) for less abled guests
15. Oversee all contractor activity to minimise impact on site operation
16. Raise accident and incident reports and track through to closure
17. Provide operational support to internal events
18. Provide operational support to ad-hoc out of hours events
19. Review customer feedback tracking remedial actions through to closure
20. Raise out of hours paperwork
21. Raise sprinkler/fire alarm isolation requests
22. Manage door access requests
23. Support with all internal and external audits
24. Maintain a key access list
25. Conduct site inductions
Person Specification
26. A clear understanding of Health & Safety practices, IOSH certified
27. Customer orientated approach
28. Enthusiastic and conscientious
29. An understanding of Audio Visual and IT systems and the ability to explain this accurately to customers
30. Computer literate (Word, Excel, Outlook E-mail)
31. Clear, strong and confident communication skills
32. Team player with an enthusiastic attitude
33. To work efficiently and effectively in a team as well as individually
34. Able to work off their own initiative and with minimal direction
35. Excellent written and oral communication skills
