Job Title: SEN Teacher
Location: Wareham
Pay Rate: £31,650 - £49,084 Annually (MPS/UPS) (depending on experience)
Start Date: January 2026 / Immediate
Contract Type: Permanent/full time

GSL Education are seeking a qualified SEN Teacher to work in a school in the Wareham area. This is an excellent opportunity for a caring and resilient teacher to deliver high-quality, inclusive teaching tailored to the needs of pupils with SEND, ensuring both academic progress and personal growth.
As an SEN Teacher, you will:
* Plan and deliver engaging lessons adapted to meet diverse learning needs.
* Provide individualised support to pupils with a range of special educational needs.
* Work closely with teaching assistants, SENCOs, and other professionals to implement effective support strategies.
* Monitor and assess pupil progress, providing regular feedback to parents and staff.
* Create a safe, inclusive, and positive classroom environment where every pupil can thrive.
Requirements for SEN teacher:
* UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification is essential.
* Experience working with pupils with special educational needs.
* A patient, empathetic, and flexible approach to teaching.
* Strong classroom management and communication skills.
* An enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
* A full CV covering the last 10 years, with explanations for any employment gaps.
