Senior Environmental Consultant

Salary: £35,000-45,000

They are now looking to appoint an experienced Senior Environmental Consultant to join their friendly and ambitious environmental planning team.

Requirements for Applicants:
9. Degree in environmental science or a related discipline
10. MSc in a relevant environmental field
11. Minimum 3+ years’ professional experience (public or private sector)
12. Thorough knowledge of UK environmental assessment, planning, and nature conservation legislation and guidance
13. Proven ability to produce high-quality written reports suitable for public consultation
14. Membership/Chartership with IEMA or a similar professional institute
15. Strong verbal and written communication skills
16. Excellent organisational abilities
17. Strong numerical skills and proficiency in common software applications
Desired Experience:
18. Proficiency in GIS software, particularly ArcGIS
19. Experience working across multiple environmental disciplines
20. Experience in business development, including bid preparation and sales
Duties and Responsibilities:
21. Undertaking site assessments
22. Contributing to the preparation of high-quality environmental assessment reports
23. Day-to-day client liaison
24. Working collaboratively with project team members
25. Attending client and stakeholder meetings
26. Providing technical guidance and support to junior team members
27. Supporting business development activities, including bid writing
