Maintenance Engineer (Electrically Biased)
Monday to Friday – Day Shift
Salary: £47,500

A leading manufacturing business based in the Sudbury area is seeking an Electrically Biased Maintenance Engineer to join its engineering team. The Role:
As an Electrically Biased Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for maintaining and improving production machinery. Your duties will include:
* Planned and reactive maintenance on a range of manufacturing equipment
* Electrical fault finding on control systems, panels, motors, sensors, and drives
* Supporting mechanical maintenance where required
* Diagnosing breakdowns and implementing effective long-term solutions
* Contributing to continuous improvement and reliability projects
* Ensuring all work is carried out safely and in line with site procedures
The Ideal Candidate:
You will be a proactive and skilled engineer with strong electrical expertise and manufacturing experience. Ideally, you will have:
* Electrical bias with relevant engineering qualifications
* Experience working in a manufacturing or industrial environment
* Strong electrical fault-finding and diagnostic skills
* A good understanding of mechanical systems
* A positive, hands-on attitude and strong communication skills
