Murphy is recruiting for a Project Manager to work with the Energy Team on the National Grid, HWUP Project.

A day in the life of a Murphy Project Manager:
1. Be fully accountable for project delivery, ensuring safety, timeliness, contract compliance, and budget adherence.
2. Set project standards and ensure requirements are identified and met.
3. Identify and resolve issues promptly and effectively.
4. Plan, review, and deliver project programmes.
5. Manage Site Managers, Assistant Site Managers, and Section Managers.
6. Maintain effective client relationships and provide project updates to stakeholders.
7. Create and review risk assessments as needed.
8. Resolve operational issues, escalating critical issues to the Project Director.
9. Manage all commercial activities, including gross margin, cost control, and financial metrics.
10. Oversee subcontractor performance and project financials.
Are you interested? Does this sound like you?
* Experience delivering HV Transmission & Distribution or Major Civils projects.
* Previous experience in a Project Managerial role.
* HNC / HND or NVQ Level 5 (or Degree).
* Experience managing complex multi-discipline enhancement projects within programme and cost controls.
* Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to develop strong relationships with clients and subcontractors.
