Housing with Support Manager - Clapham, SW4 9DTAbout the RoleMTVH are looking for a Housing with Support Manager to deliver a highquality housing management and support service within our Sheltered Housing schemes. The role supports customers aged 55+ to live independently, safely, and with choice and control in a secure community setting. You will oversee day-to-day housing management, ensure compliance with health and safety standards, and work closely with customers to meet their housing and wellbeing needs.Therefore, as part of the Care & Support team, you will build strong relationships with customers, partner agencies, and internal teams. You will provide practical advice, manage tenancies effectively, and proactively support customers to maintain their independence and quality of life. Key responsibilitiesDeliver an effective housing management service across sheltered schemes, including maintenance, cleanliness, and health & safetyAssess referrals, facilitate viewings, and determine suitability in line with allocations policyCarry out regular tenancy and household audits and followup home visitsProvide advice on rent arrears, welfare benefits, budgeting, and financial inclusionPromote independent living by signposting customers to community resources, statutory agencies, and specialist services What you'll need to succeedKnowledge of relevant housing legislation, tenancy rights, and safeguarding responsibilitiesExperience working with older or vulnerable adults and understanding their housing and wellbeing needsStrong communication skills with the ability to manage sensitive situations empathetically and professionallyAbility to manage and prioritise workload independently while working as part of a wider teamGood IT skills and confidence using Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and housing systemsAn Enhanced DBS check including the Adult Barred List will be required for this role.
