Salary: £35,(Apply online only) – £37,(Apply online only) per annum (dependent on experience)

Role Overview
As a Buyer within our procurement team, you will play a vital role in supporting and partnering with the wider business to deliver ongoing value whilst managing a critical supplier base. You will work collaboratively across multiple departments, ensuring effective communication and smooth procurement processes. During peak periods, you may also provide additional administrative support to the team.
Key Responsibilities
Implement and optimise inventory management systems to maintain stock levels and reduce lead times for key lines.
Negotiate contracts, terms and conditions with suppliers to secure favourable agreements.
Monitor stock reports and place orders based on business requirements.
Research and analyse market trends to identify cost-saving opportunities and alternative suppliers.
Develop and maintain strong supplier relationships to ensure long-term partnerships and improved service levels.
Support new product development by sourcing materials and components in line with project specifications.
Raise purchase orders (POs) and manage the procurement process from requisition to delivery.
Source materials, goods and services in accordance with company specifications and standards.
Address and resolve issues relating to delayed shipments, faulty goods or supplier disputes promptly and effectively.
Coordinate collection and delivery schedules with the transport team.
Undertake ad hoc duties as required to support the team.

Proficient in Microsoft Office/365 and comfortable using CRM systems.
