KS1 Teaching AssistantLocation: Smethwick, Birmingham B67Daily Pay Rate: £105 - 120Days: Monday to Friday (Term Time Only)Start Date: March 11th 2026Contract: Long-Term, Temp to PermAre you an experienced Teaching Assistant with a passion for supporting young learners in KS1?We are working with a welcoming infant school in Smethwick seeking a dedicated TA to deliver targeted interventions and provide in-class support, including working closely with high-need SEN pupils. This is a rewarding long-term opportunity to make a real impact during the crucial early stages of a child's education.What You'll Be Doing:
* Deliver small-group interventions in phonics, reading and maths
* Provide general classroom support across KS1
* Work 1:1 with high-need SEN pupils
* Adapt learning activities to meet individual needs
* Support pupils' academic progress and emotional development
* Collaborate closely with the class teacher and SENCO
What We're Looking For:
* Previous experience supporting children in KS1
* Strong understanding of phonics programmes
* Experience working with SEN, particularly high-need pupils
* A patient, proactive and nurturing approach
* Confidence delivering targeted interventions
