Are you an enthusiastic and organised physiotherapist with a passion for musculoskeletal care? Berkshire Healthcare is looking for a motivated Band 6 MSK Physiotherapist to join our dynamic Outpatient Physiotherapy team with at least 18 months of post‑graduate experience.
We receive a diverse range of referrals from GP surgeries, First Contact Practitioners (FCPs), Orthopaedic clinics, the Triage and Assessment Service (TAS), as well as from our Specialist Spinal Service (IPASS) and Community Specialist Service (CSS) and self‑referrals. You will be part of a supportive and skilled team, working alongside colleagues from bands 3 to 7, with access to Band 7 Clinical Specialist Physiotherapists for supervision, in‑service training, and development opportunities. You will also benefit from strong links with Advanced Practice Physiotherapists.
Main duties of the job
To work as a senior physiotherapy practitioner to provide a high quality, responsive outpatient physiotherapy service for adults & children with musculoskeletal & orthopaedic conditions.
To provide a high standard of physiotherapy assessment, treatment and caseload management.
To undertake all aspects of clinical duties as an autonomous practitioner working without direct supervision.
To be involved in supervision and education of band 5 physiotherapists, physiotherapy assistants, work experience students and physiotherapy students.
To be proactively involved in service development and quality improvement.

Education/Qualifications/Training
* Diploma/Degree in Physiotherapy
* HPC Registration
* CSP membership
* Membership of relevant Special Interest Group
Continuous Professional Development
* Evidence of CPD in a portfolio including attendance at recent postgraduate courses relevant to the clinical field / reflective practice in this clinical field.
Previous Experience
* Postgraduate / undergraduate experience in musculoskeletal / orthopaedic outpatients
* Postgraduate experience for a minimum of 12 months
* Experience of working in UK health systems / NHS
* Postgraduate experience covering core rotations
* Supervision of juniors / assistants / students
* Experience of delegating tasks

* Able to present information, written and orally, in a clear and logical manner
* Sound knowledge of Physiotherapy in the relevant area
