The Opportunity
We are seeking an exceptional Technology Programme Director - Future ERP (Commercial) to lead the delivery of the Commercial workstream within this flagship transformation. This is a senior leadership role with end to end accountability for implementing SAP S/4HANA capabilities across pricing, billing, product configuration and revenue management.
You will shape and drive a multi year programme that is central to Royal Mail's commercial evolution, partnering closely with senior leaders across Commercial, Finance and Technology. You will lead a multidisciplinary team of around 20 project managers, architects, business analysts and subject matter experts, as well as managing major supplier delivery.
Key Responsibilities
* Own the delivery of the Commercial workstream within the Future ERP programme, ensuring clear scope, milestones and measurable outcomes.
* Build and manage an integrated programme plan across Commercial, Finance and supplier teams, with strong control of dependencies, risks and issues.
* Operate robust governance and transparent reporting to support timely, informed decision making.
* Hold internal teams and suppliers to account for scope, schedule, cost, quality and risk commitments.
* Partner with senior Commercial stakeholders to align technology delivery with target pricing, billing and revenue processes.
* Ensure high quality solution design aligned to enterprise architecture, enabling automation, accurate pricing and data driven decision making through SAP S/4HANA.
* Work with Service Management to ensure operational readiness and a smooth transition into BAU.
* Lead, develop and inspire a high performing programme team.
* Ensure compliance, security and auditability across all Commercial deliverables.
About You
You will bring:
* A strong track record delivering large scale ERP or Commercial transformation programmes, ideally involving SAP S/4HANA.
* Deep understanding of pricing, billing, revenue management and product configuration processes.
* Proven leadership across complex, multi workstream environments.
* Strong commercial acumen and the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
* Demonstrated experience managing major suppliers.
* A commitment to secure, compliant and scalable technology solutions.
* The ability to lead, motivate and develop high performing teams.
