The Role We are seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to strengthen our commercial team across both divisions. This is a key role, responsible for managing project costs, contracts, and risks while ensuring best value and supporting successful delivery. You will have the opportunity to work across diverse projects — from EV charging rollouts and energy solutions to fit-out and construction schemes as Principal Contractor. Key Responsibilities * Lead cost management across the full project lifecycle, from pre-construction through delivery. * Prepare, review, and analyse budgets, tenders, and subcontractor packages. * Administer contracts (NEC and JCT), manage valuations, variations, and change control. * Lead subcontractor procurement, payments, and commercial negotiations. * Prepare CVRs, forecasts, and board-level commercial reports. * Monitor project risks and propose effective mitigation strategies. * Maintain strong client, consultant, and subcontractor relationships. * Mentor and support junior QS team members, promoting collaboration. About You * Proven experience as a Senior QS within construction, infrastructure, or energy projects. * Strong knowledge of JCT and/or NEC contracts. * Excellent cost management, forecasting, and reporting skills. * Commercially astute with strong negotiation skills. * Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. * Effective communicator with strong stakeholder management skills.
