Cover Supervisor
We are currently recruiting dependable and flexible Cover Supervisors based in and around Droylsden, South Manchester to support a range of secondary schools on a day-to-day supply basis for the rest of the summer term and in September 2026.
This role is ideal for individuals who are adaptable and keen to gain experience working across different school environments. You’ll play a key role in maintaining continuity of learning when teaching staff are absent.

Key Responsibilities
* Supervising whole classes during the short term absence of teaching staff
* Delivering pre-set lesson plans and ensuring students remain on task
* Managing classroom behaviour in line with school policies
* Supporting pupils with their work where appropriate
* Adapting quickly to different schools and classroom settings
Who We’re Looking For
* Individuals based near Droylsden or able to commute
* Available for day-to-day work, being available for bookings on short notice
* Comfortable with early morning calls
* Confident working with secondary school students and managing behaviour in the classroom
* Previous experience working with young people (tutoring, coaching, youth work) or as a cover supervisor
* Strong communication skills and a calm, professional manner
