We at Cora Health are currently looking for an Advanced Musculoskeletal (MSK) Clinician, who is passionate about providing high-quality, patient-centred care to join us as part of a large multidisciplinary team in the Northumberland Joint Musculoskeletal and Pain Service (JMAPS). The JMAPS service is delivered in partnership between Northumbria Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust and Cora Health. We are dedicated to delivering the highest level of patient care in the most efficient and cost-effective way, with re-investment to ensure services are sustainable.
Role Overview
We are seeking a well-organised Advanced MSK Clinician to deliver quality clinical care for patients with MSK conditions. You will undertake comprehensive assessment and diagnosis of patients with a wide variety of physical and emotional needs, formulate, deliver, review, and progress individual treatment programmes, and ensure effective treatment, specialist advice, and timely discharge. You will work closely with patients to develop personalised treatment plans and provide preventative care and education.
Qualifications and Experience
* Hold a relevant Physiotherapist degree or Masters qualification.
* Experience working at clinical level 7, with proof from MSK competencies at application.
* Senior physiotherapist or FCP seeking an Advanced Practice Physiotherapist role.
* Previous experience delivering musculoskeletal services with tangible results and a commitment to excellent, personalised care.
* Understanding of the impact of MSK pain in the community and how collaborative working can prevent issues and address health inequalities.
* Current valid registration with your relevant professional body or regulator (HCPC).
* Strong values underpinning clinical expertise and people management.
* Proven ability to influence patients, colleagues, commissioners, and pathways.
* Knowledge of audit processes and evidence-based practice integration.
* Experience in developing and delivering specialist teaching in MSK care.
* Drive to deliver innovation and lead change.
* Experience in developing team members.
* Passion for holistic treatment, service integration, and addressing health inequalities.
