Recruit 121 are working exclusively with a fast growing manufacturing client based in Bridgend. My client has doubled its turnover in the last 2 years and since receiving investment is looking to continue on the same trajectory.
This is an excellent opportunity for a driven, detail-oriented accountant ready to take the next big step in your career? We’re looking for a solid, qualified Accountant — or someone nearing the end of their exams — who is eager to grow into a Financial Controller role within the next couple years.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a fast-paced manufacturing environment with strong international links. Reporting directly to an Interim Financial Controller, you’ll play a key role in supporting the business with hands-on financial management and strategic insight.
The role requires you to be on site 5 days a week.
Key Requirements:
* ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualified (or close to qualification)
* Manufacturing experience is essential
* International exposure is beneficial
* Experience working with a Private Equity-backed business is a strong advantage
* Proven track record in:
* Inventory management
* VAT returns and compliance Check and submit VAT returns across multiple countries via our Amazon VAT service provider (monthly & quarterly).
* Month-end close processes and reporting
* Financial Reporting - Provide insights into sales, costs, margins, and key financial performance indicators.
* Sales & Expense Reconciliation - Ensure accuracy by reconciling transactions across web and multiple e-commerce platforms.
* Experience managing staff doing Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable is a plus
