Meraki Talent is delighted to be working in partnership with a leading Chartered Accountancy firm to appoint a Head of VAT.
This is a newly created leadership role, offering the successful candidate the chance to shape and lead the firm’s VAT & Indirect Tax service line across multiple offices.
The Opportunity:
This is the first time the firm has appointed a dedicated Head of VAT, making it a unique career opportunity. Your expertise and leadership will set the tone for the service line’s future direction. While the finer details will evolve once you are in post, the role is envisaged to include:
* Designing and implementing the strategic direction of the VAT/Indirect Tax service line.
* Building and developing a specialist team across multiple office locations.
* Acting as the firm’s subject matter expert and go-to leader in VAT.
* Driving innovation, growth, and best practice across the service line.
* Working closely with Partners and senior leadership to enhance client service delivery and expand market presence.
About You:
We are seeking an experienced VAT/Indirect Tax professional with:
* Strong technical expertise in VAT/Indirect Tax.
* Proven leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and develop a team.
* A history of delivering strategic initiatives and driving growth.
* Excellent communication and relationship management skills.
