The Opportunity:
Kenton Black Finance are currently recruiting for a permanent (4 days a week) Credit Controller on behalf of a business that is based in Chorley. Our client is seeking a great communicator and someone who will take control of the ledger by forging good relationships with their customers. The salary listed on this advert is based on you working 4 DAYS A WEEK. The job is office based and there is flexibility on start and finish times.
Salary and Benefits:
- A salary of up to £30,000 (based on working 4 days a week - Monday to Thursday)

- 25 days annual leave per year
Your New Role as the Credit Controller:
- Chasing debt from the Sales ledger
- Forging long lasting relationships to ensure that customers pay on time.
- Dealing with customer orders, queries, payments and subscriptions
Experience and Skills Required to Apply:
- Proven credit control experience - at least 3 years of experience (ESSENTIAL)
- Have excellent customer service skills and the ability to listen and negotiate firmly with customers. (ESSENTIAL)
- Be familiar with Xero Accounting software (NOT ESSENTIAL)
- Excellent organisational skills with a keen eye for detail. (ESSENTIAL)
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. (ESSENTIAL)
- Experience with small claims court proceedings (PREFERRED)
Summary:

The job requires you to be organised, a great communicator, have strong credit control skills, exceptional attention to detail skills, and for you to have a positive approach.
