Duties
* Support chef ensuring that all kitchen equipment is clean and well-maintained .
* Follow food safety protocols to maintain a clean and hygienic kitchen environment.
* To support/assist the Nursery Chef in ensuring a high standard of catering with all food being prepared for the children through following the policies, procedures, legislative guidelines and relevant instructions as set out by the Nursery.
* To complete advanced Food Hygiene Certificate
Requirements Of Kitchen Assistant Role
* Understanding of catering for special diets, allergies and intolerances
* Ability to work quickly but efficiently- FAST PACED ENVIROMENT
* Experience in nursery or school settings
