Are you an Electro-Technical Officer looking for a great work-life balance with excellent opportunities to develop your skills while supporting our Irish Sea fleet? This role offers flexibility with no fixed location, allowing you to work on all Irish Sea vessels.
Responsibilities
1. Provide operational support to ship management teams and assist onboard management in operating vessels safely, efficiently, and cost-effectively within the Electro/Technical discipline.
2. Maintain and operate equipment safely.
3. Manage risks to ship, personnel, and environment, establishing safeguards.
4. Follow safety organization duties.
5. Develop and operate a Planned Maintenance system for Electro/Technical equipment.
6. Provide emergency support for safety and essential equipment.
7. Assist in electro/technical projects.
8. Stay updated on relevant legislation and technological developments.
9. Participate in vessel refits and emergency dockings, supporting electro/technical tasks and safety procedures.
10. Organize and lead the team safely and efficiently under the guidance of the Chief Engineer.

Qualifications
* Valid STCW training and medical certificates
* Proven ship handling and command experience on ferries
