<div><p>An exciting opportunity has arisen in the Endoscopy Unit at the North Manchester General Hospital. We are a JAG accredited Endoscopy Unit and offer training at our host site for North West Training Academy. You will be supported by our dedicated Clinical Educator to become competent in assisting with a wide range of diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopy procedures. If you are enthusiastic, motivated and keen to learn then this is a perfect opportunity to extend your skills and join our friendly team.</p><h3>Responsibilities</h3><ul><li>Assess, plan, evaluate and deliver all relevant aspects of patient care for those undergoing endoscopic procedures in a caring, compassionate and sensitive manner.</li><li>Work closely with the multi‑disciplinary team and contribute to the clinical governance process.</li><li>Act as a Practice Supervisor/Assessor/preceptor to junior staff, with specific responsibility for preregistration students and Trainee Nursing Associates.</li></ul><h3>Work Hours & On‑Call Coverage</h3><ul><li>Core hours: 08:00 am – 18:30 pm, Monday to Friday.</li><li>Additional 24‑hour on‑call service 365 days a year to support the out‑of‑hours service.</li></ul><p>The post holder will assess, plan, evaluate and deliver all relevant aspects of the care of patients undergoing endoscopic procedures in a caring, compassionate and sensitive manner.</p></div>
