We are looking to recruit a Tax Controls and Processes Lead into the Tax team who is able to manage a full and varied workload and has good attention to detail.
This is an exciting opportunity to be part of the Tax Department at the UKs fourth largest Grocer.
Whilst sat within the Tax team you will be encouraged to develop and build cross-functional relationships throughout the business.
The successful applicant will assist the VAT Manager to ensure Aldi remains compliant with all relevant VAT legislation in the UK and Ireland and will be involved in a range of projects. The role provides a great opportunity to develop knowledge of VAT within a large retailer.
Your New Role
1. Reporting to the VAT Manager the successful candidate will support on topics including:
2. VAT reporting and oversight of VAT compliance in the UK and Ireland
3. Understanding and documenting tax processes and controls
4. Making recommendations and implementing process changes
5. Responding to business queries and advising on the VAT impact of projects
