Job Overview
This rare and exciting opportunity is for an experienced practitioner to join the surgical team. You will work alongside surgical consultants within this speciality and manage your own group of patients. Pelvic floor disorders are widespread and affect a large number of people, including both men and women. It is estimated that 25% of the population suffer from functional bowel issues.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
Main Duties
* Undertake nurse‑led clinics and treatment/therapies for functional bowel disease patients
* Undertake PH manometry and anorectal physiology
* Liaise with the multidisciplinary team and support colorectal surgeons in MDT clinic
* Patient education and support with irrigation
Day‑to‑day management of a case load of Functional Bowel Disease patients.

Qualifications
Essential criteria
* MSc level in Surgical Practice or evidence of learning to an equivalent level
* Evidence of ongoing professional development in this area of specialty
Desirable criteria
* Management qualification
* Postgraduate Certificate in Education/mentorship course
