This organisation employs approximately 900 staff, based in Wales (just outside central Cardiff) and is accessible by public transport or there is free parking on-site.
Your new role
This is a hands-on role, providing 1st and some 2nd line support in a busy environment. You’ll be part of a small, collaborative team, helping to manage iing requests, troubleshoot issues, and escalate where necessary. There will be face-to-face interaction with service users, plus you will be receiving calls via their service desk.
What you'll need to succeed
1. Provide 1st line technical support across Windows and Mac environments
2. Manage and triage service requests via portal, email, and phone
3. Troubleshootmon issues such as connectivity problems and password resets
4. Escalateplex issues while maintaining clearmunication with users
5. Use remote tools and team screen sharing for investigation and resolution.
6. Work on-site full-time in a South Wales location
