Nutrition and Dietetics Team - NELFT (North East London Foundation Trust)
NELFT's Barking, Dagenham, Havering, and Redbridge Nutrition and Dietetics team is excited to announce an opportunity for a Band 5 Community Dietitian with interest in paediatric dietetics to join our expanding Paediatric Dietetic team.
Main duties of the job
Key Responsibilities:
1. Dietetics Assessment and Treatment : Provide dietetic assessment and treatment for babies, children and young people residing in Barking, Dagenham, Redbridge, and Havering with support from the established team.
2. Collaboration: Work collaboratively with dietitians and Multi-disciplinary Team teams to improve nutritional care for patients across Barking, Dagenham, Redbridge, and Havering.
3. Patient-Centered Care: Demonstrate sensitivity, non-judgment, and professionalism in dealing with patients. Provide advice in a considerate manner.
4. Professional Development: Demonstrate a commitment to professional development and training opportunities
5. Communication and Time Management : Possess excellent communication and time management skills to efficiently coordinate tasks and interactions with patients, carers, and fellow health professionals.
Person specification
* Registered with HCPC
* Experience in a community/ acute /outpatient setting
* Evidence of a range of CPD activities
* Member of the British Dietetic Association
