The postholders will support the Finance Manager and Principal Group Accountant in the provision of financial management information and advice to services within the Corporate Services Directorate and the Communities Directorate.
You will also be responsible for providing financial advice and accounting support to service managers including production of designated budget monitoring reports and management information, preparation of service budgets, grant claims and financial outturn. Contributing to the effective monitoring and evaluation of designated service performance.
A relevant Level 4 financial qualification on the Credit and Qualifications Framework for Wales or Association of Accounting Technicians (AAT) Level 4.
Analytical skills, involving the ability to interpret complex financial data, use financial projection techniques and produce reports and statistical information.
Experience in a financial environment and ability to assess and advise upon the financial and budgetary implications of new and changes to service initiatives., Disability Confident
