Teaching Assistant – Year 2 SEN Support (Levenshulme) Start Date: After October Half Term | Full-Time (8:30am – 3:30pm) Teaching Personnel is proud to be working in partnership with a well-regarded primary school in Levenshulme, currently seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to support pupils in Year 2 with a range of Special Educational Needs (SEN). This role involves both small group work and one-to-one support, helping children reach their full potential in a nurturing and inclusive environment. Key Responsibilities: Provide tailored support to pupils with SEN, both individually and in small groups. Assist the class teacher in planning and delivering differentiated learning activities. Help implement and monitor Individual Education Plans (IEPs). Create a positive, inclusive learning environment that encourages pupil engagement. Collaborate with teaching staff and external professionals to support holistic development. Candidate Requirements: Minimum of GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths. Previous experience working with children with SEN. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively within a team.
