3 months contract with local authority We are seeking a dedicated individual to provide support for the AMHP duty desk during business hours, with occasional assessments running outside of normal business hours. The role involves triaging Mental Health Act assessment referrals, supporting S.13 visits with other professionals, and providing assistance to AMHP Candidates on placement. Additionally, the successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the MH hospital discharge team with MCA’s & 117 meetings if required. This role will be primarily office-based for up to 20 weeks due to the nature of the position, with some flexibility available with advanced agreement. The location for this role is The Redwoods Centre, Somerby Drive, Shrewsbury, SY3 8DS. Requirements = At least 3 years PQE in a permanent role Experience in mental health assessments and referrals Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively in a team environment Flexibility to work outside of normal business hours when required
