Based in Portchester, UK. The main responsibility of this role includes the general day-to-day maintenance of all plant machinery and associated equipment, alongside general site maintenance.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Conduct TPM (planned maintenance) and maintain all relevant records.
2. Ensure the safe installation of new production lines in accordance with engineering and safety standards.
3. Relocate machinery and associated equipment as required.
4. Maintain and repair lighting, power distribution, compressed air systems, and related equipment.
5. Maintain and repair equipment on assembly cells, including Siemens PLC-controlled systems.
6. Maintain and repair moulding machines, hydraulic, and pneumatic plant equipment.
7. Conduct pipe work installations and relocations.
8. Perform maintenance and repairs to jigs and fixtures, including oil changes.
9. Manage stock levels of spare parts and order replacements as needed.
10. Ensure all plant and machinery comply with Health & Safety requirements.
11. Provide cross-departmental support and guidance to apprentices and junior engineers.
12. Work towards personal business objectives (PBO).
13. Promote a safe working environment in accordance with Health & Safety policies.
14. Support weekend operations as required.
15. Maintain an organized and efficient work environment following the 5S methodology.
16. Communicate effectively with colleagues and other departments.
17. Complete thorough handovers to ensure continuity.
18. Perform any other duties reasonably assigned by the Facilities and Maintenance Supervisor.

Qualifications and Experience:
* Experience in maintenance within a factory environment.
* Control system fault-finding skills (electronic and electrical).
* Injection moulding experience.
Knowledge:
* Familiarity with Single Phase and 3 Phase electrical installations.
* Control system knowledge, including PLCs (Siemens and Mitsubishi).
* Understanding of Health and Safety requirements (desirable).
