About the Role
We are seeking a committed SEMH Teaching Assistant to join a highly supportive alternative education setting in New Milton.
This is a full-time position working with secondary students aged 11 to 16. Your working hours will be 8.30am to 4pm, Monday to Friday, with an immediate start available.

Your Responsibilities
• Supporting students during lessons and providing positive encouragement
• Helping to maintain a safe, structured and motivating learning environment
• Building strong relationships that inspire confidence and engagement
• Assisting the teacher with lesson preparation and classroom activities
• Promoting independence and celebrating progress with students
What We Are Looking For
• A minimum of six months’ experience working with children or young people, ideally in a setting where additional support was required
• A full driving licence, as the location is not easily accessed by public transport
• A calm, patient and proactive approach to guiding and motivating students
• Someone who is passionate about making a difference and enjoys working as part of a team

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
