* Immediate start until July 2026
* £80 - £100 per day
* 2-form entry primary school, Ladywood
* Preparation for teacher training
The Role
You’ll work across KS1 and KS2, delivering short interventions and targeted 1:1 support in core subjects. You’ll help prepare resources, guide pupils during tasks, and record simple progress notes. You’ll also support routines, promote positive behaviour, and contribute to a calm, purposeful classroom.
The Candidate
You’re a graduate who communicates clearly, takes initiative, and builds rapport quickly with children. You’re organised, reflective, and keen to learn from experienced teachers as you prepare for a PGCE/School Direct route.
Requirements
* Degree – A 2:2 or above in any subject.
* Communication – Clear, confident verbal and written communication.
* Enhanced DBS – Held already or willing to obtain.
* Desire to work in education/with children – Evident commitment to pupil progress and wellbeing.
* Experience working with children – Any relevant experience (tutoring, mentoring, volunteering) is desirable but not essential.

This two-form entry primary in Ladywood is supportive and well organised, with strong collaboration between year teams. You’ll get practical guidance, structured routines, and chances to observe excellent practice—ideal preparation for initial teacher training.
