Job Title: Multi Skilled Engineer
CBRE Global Workplace Solutions is a leading global provider of integrated facilities and corporate real estate management. We are recruiting an Electrical Biased Multi Skilled Engineer to join the team based in Welwyn.
The successful candidate will perform Electrical and Mechanical Maintenance on Plant, Equipment, and Building Services.
Role Summary:
1. Identify and manage the risks to the client through the equipment on site, including updating drawings, identifying critical spares, improving performance of machinery, and implementing the preventative maintenance program.
2. Use new equipment and technologies to maintain a working production environment, liaising with the client on requests for certain machinery PPMs.
3. Fault finding on all types of Machinery.
4. Support others in the department regarding Health and Safety.
5. Provide Electrical and Mechanical expertise to the Maintenance Department working on Heavy Industrial Machines and Overhead Cranes.
6. Write and follow Risk Assessments and be available to address issues arising from them safely and accurately.
7. Complete required documentation in accordance with all rules and legislation.
8. Work on Three Phase Systems with Voltages up to 440V.
9. Work on Motors, Gearboxes, Valves, including Hydraulic, Pneumatic, and Electrical Systems.
10. Use Mobile Devices to project and complete works from the CAFM Maintenance System.
11. Plan daily work requirements using email and calendars to ensure tasks are completed efficiently.
12. Liaise with onsite Site Services to manage Building Services issues confidently and accurately.
13. Be responsible for the department when required and deputise for the Shift Leader during leave or sickness.
14. Work overtime as required, including nights and weekends, often with short notice.
15. Perform ad hoc duties as needed.
